Since 6:00 PM yesterday evening, the Monelison Volunteer Fire Department has been actively responding to numerous reports of downed power lines and fallen trees. Recently, Attack 21, Engine 22, and Chief 2 responded to the 420 block of Izaak Walton Rd for a downed electric wire that was arcing across the driveway. Fire units remained on scene until AEP arrived to cut power to the downed line.
