Madison Heights, VA – March 16, 2025 – The Monelison Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to multiple emergency calls this morning due to high winds in the area. Engine 21 (E21) and Engine 22 (E22) responded to several incidents involving downed trees and power lines. One notable incident involved a tree falling on a car in a driveway, causing significant damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in any of the incidents.

The Monelison Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Arby's Madison Heights for their generous support. After a power line caused a minor electrical incident inside the restaurant, Arby's staff prepared lunch for our firefighters, ensuring they were well-fed and ready to continue their duties.
