Madison Heights, VA – On February 9, 2025, members of the Monelison Volunteer Fire Department gathered at Fire Headquarters for an evening of food, fellowship, and football as they watched the Super Bowl together. The event featured a delicious seafood boil prepared by Probationary Firefighter William "Billy" Hughes, who is also known as the department's local chef. The meal included crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn, and kielbasa.

"Monelison Fire Department is like a second family, and we try to get together for big televised events," said Lieutenant Jay Saren. "After responding to some difficult calls earlier in the day, it was nice to enjoy each other's company."

The Monelison Volunteer Fire Department would also like to extend their congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles on their Super Bowl win.
