We are deeply sorry to hear about Joey Viar’s passing. His personality truly captured the essence of the kind of person he was—a selfless and dedicated individual who found joy in being part of a team that valued him. His memory will surely live on through the kindness and service he shared. That smile on his face every day proved to be the example we all should follow. A funeral service to celebrate Joey’s life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Gary L. Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Tyreeanna United Methodist Church Cemetery. Following the service the family will receive friends and family at 184 Fernridge Court Madison Heights, VA 24572.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2025 at the funeral home.
